Determined to Succeed Tutorial Program

MentorScope Community Outreach is devoted to providing students with the tools and resources they need to positively impact their lives, careers, and communities. Each one of our programs are dedicated to building the next generation of leaders for our communities. Therefore, our instructional program must have a record of effectiveness which proves that it consists of tools that can assess and assist our students.

Determined to Succeed Tutorial Program is an opportunity to associate and engage with K-12 schools, families, and students to advocate for them throughout their educational journey. We use intensive evidence research based, and data proven intervention curriculums. Our content is of high quality and has increased student’s achievement in English Language Arts, Writing, English Language Learning, Mathematics, Social Studies and Science and we focus on meeting the educational demand of at-risk students.

Established centered on providing supplementary resources to students and families MentorScope Community Outreach is committed to closing the opportunity gap by unleashing creativity and strengthening social-emotional well-being of those we service.

Student Information

The Biz Kid Project

Supplemental learning module program that exposes students to the world of entrepreneurism. It is an innovative activity-based resource designed to help shape future career choices and offer business ownership as an option.

Taught via an animated series of 14 videos, student learn by doing. From deciding on a business concept, to designing a logo, business cards, flyer and a one-page website, students complete the tasks related to starting a business.

Students can experience the program as individuals, or in teams. Students will engage in their own business and at the end of the program present it in a showcase.
